As Linosec expands its operations internationally, particularly in China and the rest of Asia, it is seeking an Accountant & Corporate Operations Support professional to manage financial operations while supporting global outreach efforts and operational efficiency.

Role Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and versatile Accountant to lead our financial management while providing critical support to corporate communications and operations. The ideal candidate will combine strong accounting expertise with operational capabilities, leveraging their bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin, international experience, and ability to bridge financial and business development functions.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Accounting (Primary Focus):

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Ensure timely tax compliance, VAT filings, and liaison with external auditors
  • Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and optimize treasury operations
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and internal audit procedures
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making

Operational Support & Process Improvement:

  • Evaluate and optimize internal financial and operational processes to enhance efficiency
  • Develop and implement systems to improve workflow across departments
  • Ensure seamless coordination between finance and cross-functional teams
  • Monitor resource allocation to ensure efficient use of budget and financial resources

Communication & Client Relations Support:

  • Support development of financial presentations and business proposals for client engagement
  • Assist in preparing financial documentation for business development initiatives
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic partnerships requiring financial analysis
  • Support content creation for financial transparency and stakeholder communications

Business Development & Stakeholder Management:

  • Strengthen client relationships through professional financial management and reporting
  • Collaborate with teams to identify financial opportunities and cost optimization strategies
  • Support the CEO and leadership team in financial aspects of strategic initiatives
  • Assist in converting financial data into compelling narratives for external marketing

Event Support & Administrative Coordination:

  • Manage event budgets, financial tracking, and post-event financial evaluations
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing teams on financial planning for corporate events
  • Handle logistics and financial administration for international operations

Cross-Departmental Liaison:

  • Serve as financial point of contact between departments
  • Assist in onboarding new team members on financial procedures and standards
  • Provide financial training and support to ensure compliance across teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin. Additional languages will be an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Experience with the Chinese market
  • Availability to travel regularly to support international operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in professional accounting services, consulting, or a multinational corporation
  • Project management experience for handling multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Public speaking abilities and presentation skills
