iCamera Gear does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data beyond what you choose to back up. The app operates offline-first and does not require an internet connection.
All inventory management happens locally on your device. Your gear data is stored locally and only uploaded if you choose to create encrypted backups.
Optional cloud backups are encrypted using AES-GCM encryption. Only you have the encryption key - we cannot access your data.
The app does not include any analytics, tracking, or crash reporting tools. We do not monitor your usage or collect any information about how you use the app.
The app only requests permission to access your photo library for adding gear photos. Camera access for OCR scanning. Optional iCloud for encrypted backups.
